- 1. Inquiry - Use and understand the following Scientific Processes: Questioning; Planning, conducting, and communicating the results of investigations; Using appropriate tools and techniques to gather data; Think critically and logically about relationships between evidence and explanations.
- 2. History and Nature of Science: Explain how science and technology are ongoing processes, developed through human endeavor and revolutionized thinking.
- 3. Science in Personal and Social Perspectives: Describe the interactions between human populations, natural disasters, and the environment, and develop a viable solution to a problem.
- 4. Life Science: Analyze the relationships among various organisms and their environment.
- 5. Physical Science: Understand the physical and chemical properties of matter. Understand the relationship between force and motion.
For EVERY lab, students are expected to write a summary. The summary is required to be a minimum of one notebook page and answer the following questions:
- What did you do during the lab?
- What did you learn from the lab?
- How does the lab relate to the standards?
Remember to support your answers with detailed information.
